Each game decided to give those creatures something new. Creatures in The Legend had 1-3 Active + Passive abilities. The same applies to the creatures themselves. What about 3) Warriors of the North and 4) Dark Side? I guess they are not that different, too.ĭark Side's spell list is ridiculously bloated because it features most of the the spells of three entire games before it, plus a lot of former spirit/companion abilities were reintroduced by turning them into spells. ![]() Crossworlds is a solid game technically, and someone who disagrees with the points I raised above would probably prefer Crossworlds to Legend. These are all just personal preferences, of course. The companions in Crossworlds are all dudes and I don't find anything interesting about them. I like these marriage quests and I think they add a lot of interest to the game. The Rage Box powers were much more interesting and useful.Ĭompanions - In Legend there are at least a half dozen ladies who you can marry by doing optional side quests to win their hearts. Yeah he's cute and all, but his abilities are boring and I just end up spamming crushing blow 95% of the time. The skill trees were completely shuffled around, and some of my favorite spells from Legend (Pain Mirror, Magic Poleaxe) got nerfed.ĭragon Pet - Sorry, but I don't like the pet dragon. Rebalancing - I don't like the way Crossworlds was rebalanced. I do have a slight preference for Legend though, for several reasons: ![]() Legend and Crossworlds are almost exactly the same game. I guess there are a few new mechanics, but I think it is the best to play the first.
